Description of Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the craniosacral system—the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using soft touch, the practitioner aims to release restrictions in the tissues, helping the body self-correct and improve overall health and well-being.
CST is not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis and treatment. Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or perform spinal manipulations.
Description of Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of Chinese Medicine that involves the insertion of very thin needles into specific points on the body. The therapy is used to support the body's natural healing processes and may assist in managing pain, stress, fatigue, and various internal imbalances.
Acupuncture is generally safe, but possible side effects include minor bleeding, bruising, soreness, dizziness, or, in rare cases, infection. All needles used are sterile, single-use, and properly disposed of after treatment.
Acupuncture is not a substitute for emergency medical care or professional diagnosis. Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate medical attention for all health conditions.
